I first saw the Taser gun on the 80’s TV show “That’s Incredible”. Basically, it fires two darts that sends an electric shock enough to immobilize a person for a few minutes but without any permanent harmful effects.
Now in Miami, the Taser gun is under scrutiny. This after the gun was used on a six-year-old special child threatening to hurt himself with a piece of glass.
Issue: Was the use of the Taser gun the best option?
Proposed solution to this kind of dilemma: put an audio and video recorder in the gun. This way, the gun-holder is more accountable, what with the unquestionable audio and video recording of the circumstances surrounding each use of the Taser gun.
