After an exciting 3 hour climb over the Sydney Harbor Bridge, tourists can get printed pictures earlier taken from the top of the bridge.
Earlier, while we were on top of the Bridge, our climb leader, Kevin, said that he’ll take our photo to be developed later. Instantly I started thinking to myself:
How do they send the digital file from the bridge summit to the photo studio back at home base? Do they send it via a WiFi hotspot?
Well, it was nothing as complicated as that. The climb leader just passes on an SD card to the photo studio while the climbers are getting dressed (un-dressed, actually).
The photo studio in this case was run by Kodak. They use a software very similar to what I tinkered around with in Megamall last year.
