That’s what I had tonight at an F1 event at Silver City, Pasig.
My brother’s company, Philippine Auto Club (www.philippineautoclub.com), had a booth at the F1 event.
Highlight of the evening was a performance by the Kitty Girls. Aliya Parcs was there too, hosting the event. I took some photos of the Kitty Girls. I’m told the Kitty […]

I was curious about this WiFi hotspot named Seichetunnel.com which I’d pick-up when I telecommute from my brother’s office, the Philippine Auto Club, near gate 5 at Greenhills.
I was doubly curious when I saw the same hotspot name when I WiFi sniffed from Robinson’s Pioneer. I didn’t use the Seiche hotspot the first many times […]

I noticed there were a couple of surveillance cameras at the Ayala-Paseo intersection at Makati.
They appear to be connected to antennas similar in shape to the canopy antennas of Smart Bro.
The cameras are encased in a tinted half-dome.
I wonder who’s eyes are watching us behind those cameras …
I wonder if they’re using Smart’s Mobile Eye […]

It’s always good getting a call from Erwin Oliva of the Inquirer… as long as you’re not doing anything on the bad side of the news, that is.
I got a call from fellow-Baguio boy Erwin this afternoon. He received the eOFW email survey and wanted to know more about eOFW.Net. I first met Erwin when he […]

We’ve got FREE WiFi at the Araneta Center!
WiFi is available at Araneta Coliseum, Gateway mall, Shopwise (not available within the supermarket area) and Ali Mall (restaurant row only).
Reminds me of Free hotspots in Singapore Malls. Just sniff for WiFi and you’ll find a free and open hotspot.
Someday, the Philippines will have enough Internet wireless connectivity that […]

Ads, bugs and poor grammar, that’s what’s more!
I was in Rockwell at Seattle’s best on New Year’s eve, sending out last minute emails that I wanted to close before the year ended.
I sniffed for a WiFi Hotspot and true enough, there was a free and open Wigo hotspot. Thought I was lucky.
I got a connection, […]

Happy New Year, everybody!
Here’s an article about Internet-enabled book-sharing.
As 2007 was drawing to a close, one of my reflections was how I’ve re-discovered my appreciation for books. Here’s a short list of books I read this year:
Staying Up, Up, Up in a ad Down Down World by Zig ziglar

I’ve made Christmas messages for many years, and the most recent ones I’ve sent via e-mail instead of print-outs.
The concern when sending Christmas e-Cards is (a.) to maintain the pretty layout with pictures and (b.) keep the file size small.
For these concerns, I use a combination of very simple tools. This is what I do:

If you find yourself in a Victory Liner bus and you have a complaint ….
Like, for example, an in-appropriate stupid violent horror movie being broadcasted in a bus with kids …
Try contacting the Victory Liner hotline at 0917-Vicline (0917-8425463).
I filed my complaint via SMS and via phone call, and Victory Liner corrected the situation.
