On Pinoy.Tech.Blog, I post an update on 3G licenses issued to 4 Operators in the Philippines.
More fundamentally, as banks points out in the comments, ano nga ba ang 3G?
3G allows faster transmission speeds that make high-bandwidth applications such as video calls and video streaming possible. Browsing the Internet and downloading large files would be faster using 3G, as this technology offers full mobility, richer experience and greater convenience to customers.
I shouldn’t get too excited. This will be a loooooong development of 3G in the Philippines.
