Wi-Max in the Philippines

June 30th, 2006 | by ka edong |

Disclaimer: I am not connected with wi-max.ph.  You may contact wi-max.ph directly. (Added August 8, 2006).

URL seen on a company vehicle: “wi-max.ph”.

Curious. I look it up, expecting to read something about the wireless technology being developed by Intel – like WiFi on steroids.

But wi-max.ph has nothing to do with the Wi-Max as I know it. (Another misnomer here, just like Smart WiFi is NOT WiFi in the technical sense).

From the few minutes I browsed their website, I conclude that Wi-Max is a business model, a franchise package. Wi-Max, as I picked-up, is a collection of electronic services that includes cellphone loading, pre-paid internet loading, bills payment, payments to banks and others.

I didn’t dig deeper, although I should (another time), in the interest of my eOFW blog. But this much I found out: the company is chaired by Wilson Ng, highly-successful entrepreneur, father, blogger, on-line friend.

Nothing to do with Wi-Max, but quite an interesting find. Visit wi-max.ph

nagpunta ako nung isang araw para magapply for the loading business… langya. yung seminar, 95% ng oras dedicated sa upline/downline/pyramidding trash eklat. :-|

      hahaha.

Just a shameless plug, but we at reload2.com offer the same 1-sim loading solution, but in an easier to understand and use interface, do not have a pyramiding scheme, and offer higher discounts than the networks themselves. Check us out.

Bumili ako ng Platinum pckage noong dec of 2005 i believe.Tapos kung magreplenish kami(Negros oriental)thru bills payment it takes 1-2 weeks.Mamatay na lang iyong nagreplenish, iyong pera sa wallet hinde pa dumarating.I am not sure why, kung meron silang agreement with the banks bills payment. Hanggang ngayon nahihiya tuloy akong ipagbili iyong natirang packets that came with the platinum package. Last week I have tried replenishing my wallet thru bills payment, thinking they had fixed the system, ganoon pa rin,it took over a week to get my wallet replenish, the reason is my account was deactivated daw?
