Smart WiFi in Batanes

I asked my friend based in Batanes if they had Smart WiFi.
He replied:
Yes, we’ve been using Smart WiFi. There are at least 40 subscribers in Basco to date.
Smart WiFi has reached the northern-most islands of the Philippines.
I:
How is the Internet service? Any downtimes?
He:
Speed is okay, but downtime is frequent. And subscriers not educated about viruses. Problem too with billings and tech support.
Good to hear you’ve got your share of Internet at Batanes.
What other service could provide Internet to the 7,101 islands in this archipelagic Philippines at such an affordable rate?
Smart WiFi, and only Smart WiFi so far.
