Wireless Surveillance Cameras at Ayala cor Paseo

I noticed there were a couple of surveillance cameras at the Ayala-Paseo intersection at Makati.
They appear to be connected to antennas similar in shape to the canopy antennas of Smart Bro.
The cameras are encased in a tinted half-dome.
I wonder who’s eyes are watching us behind those cameras …
I wonder if they’re using Smart’s Mobile Eye service …

I haven’t seen other makati major intersections, haven’t verified if they have the same cameras installed.
The first thing that came to my mind is for security purposes.
The Ayala-Paseo intersection is where Pinoys hold a lot of rallies. …

ei ganyan work namin ahh Wireless cctv surveillance, and guess what lapit na kami mag lagay sa ortigas pero ang purpose is more on public safety and trapik management. spying to people hmm not really i think it depends upon the use of the people incharge of monitoring pero sa amin it’s just part of our job sana pag nakita niyo kami nag install ng ganyan dont ask why kasi what we do is just a part of our job.

I saw the same cameras at Ayala cor Makati Ave.
yes, probably for traffic and safety.
And yes (also), depende nalang sa gumagamit.

hello ka edong we are using airaya wireless radios and omnicast video management software, actually bago palang company namin this is the first time i tried to do this kind of job and believed me nag enjoy ako pero syempre nasa pinas tayo lalo na ngayon when they saw something na kakaiba ay siya 10 question in 1 minute na agad dapat mo sagutin. uu nga pala we are not the one who installed CCTV in makati, hindi namin nakuha project na yan medyo mababa masyado ang budget nila tapos dami nila demand.
