My sister, pamangkin and I went to a library to do photocopy some papers and to ring bind a book.
It’s interesting how many establishments in Sydney are self-service. I guess it’s because the cost of labor there is expensive. It’s cheaper to invest in automated gadgets that help customers acquire a service without the help of an employee.
In this library, the use of the photocopier, the fax machine and other office machines are paid for through a pre-paid magnetic swipe card. The pre-paid card can be purchased and loaded with credit (top-up) using a vendo machine that accepts coins and paper bills.
To use one of the office machines, you’ll need to swipe the card on the machine. The corresponding cost of usage will be debitted from your prepaid card.

Hi! I’m doing a study on prepaid cards for the Phils and was wondering if you would have any data as to the usage, average amounts reloaded and frequency of reloading for local prepaid cards or even for g-cash, etc? I don’t think the customer service reps of the companies would have such data off the bat…

Hi! I’m doing a thesis on a vry similar product/service. it’s a swipe card system for vending machines in general. It will be like prepaid cards. But our expansion plan would be similar to debit cards which can be used even in stores, trains, restaurants, school canteens etc… can you help me in any possible way? i know you can! please?

Sir,
Can you tell me the brand of the photocopier machine and if you have any contact person in that library? I am from the University of the Philippines Open University and we are interested in acquiring a photocopier just like the one you used. I was tasked to look for suppliers.

hi! we’re doing a thesis.. similar to iload.. our problem is kelangang built in na po yung software na gagawin namin..
meaning pag ginamit namin ung software, pwede po kaming mkapagload w/o using simcard.

i think that complicates things further because you’ll need to tap into portals like what they use in other universal-loadings services (web interface).
