I always wondered about a signage at some Western Union outlets. It says “e-Biz”.
I found out from my friend Dex that e-Biz is a service for booking investments like mutual funds. Clients can enter investments for PhilEquity mutual fund, for example. A small fee of about P25-35 pesos will be charged.
That’s as much as I gathered from Dex. I’ll find out more when I visit an e-Biz desk.
