You’ve got kiddie mail!

August 14th, 2006 | by ka edong |

My 9-year-old pamangkin got his first e-mail address! It’s a school-issued e-mail address in Australia.

My message to my pamangkin:

Hello Andrei!
Wowowowowie! Your first e-mail address in your whole life!
I got my first email address when I was 22 years old!
How are you? Write me!

Tito Ed

Andrei’s reply:

i am good.  how are you?.  WWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!

OOOOOOOOOOKKKKKKKKKKKKK

Andrei

It must be uber exciting. I remember when I got my first e-mail address via hotmail — 22 years old and as excited as can be.
But at 9 years old, my pamangkin is way kewl!

My guess, when I have kids, they’ll have e-mail addresses (for life) as early as 5 years old.

Neat, very neat. I too had my first e-mail address courtesy of Hotmail when I was 14. I really don’t know why I didn’t signed up to Yahoo! Mail back then, I never found it appealing or interesting enough.
