Paypass

October 3rd, 2007 | by edXcribe |

This is about paypass. Paypass is a payment system where the credit card does not need to be swiped it just needs to be tapped on a device.

I’m in SM Mall of Asia came from Shapes and I happen to see one of the terminal of paypass. I spoke to the cashier [the  usual technology usyosero that I am] and I was a lucky guy today because when I asked the cashier kung ilang beses na ginamit ung paypass, she told me it’s the first time they used it today, just today…kanina lang daw.

They’ve had the terminal for three months and it’s their first time to transact paypass payment today. The cashier also shares that in FrenchBaker, there’s a stall below them-Frenchbaker, paypass is used often. Madali lang daw magbayad ng paypass especially when FrenchBaker is in 50% off during the evening so it’s convenient for French Baker to use paypass.

That’s the latest about paypass in SM Mall of Asia.

Edwin signing off.
