I like how SM does their business. They aim to be a true one-stop shop for their patrons.

The NBI has a van that is fully-equipped to process and issue clearances. It comes complete with a digital camera, computers (specifically laptops) that contain the necessary databases and a printer.

I tried out one kiosk at Portavaga mall in Baguio. All within 5 minutes, I made a P120 payment, had a digital ID picture taken, had my name verified, and had a printout with barcode issued.
