Just came back from the Philippine BlogCon 2006.
Nice to see friends like Chris, Abe, DarXkin, Markku. Also nice meeting people to match the faces behind the online names like Jun, Karla, Clair (the soon to be ex-employee. Finally we meet), Gloria. Nice chatting with you, Ade.
Am looking forward to downloading SEO King Marc Macalua’s “How to optimize your blog in 5 minutes“.
Feature of the evening was a blog makeover! Ang kwela, nakaka-tawa! Marc, Abe and Jayvee picked-up the personal blog of the program hostess personal blog on Friendster. Yuga got a domain name for her, Jayvee’s helping out with writing content and Marc is doing optimization. Siyempre she was so freaked out (or kilig-ed?) when the Fab 5 3 of Philippine projected her Friendster blog to the blogger audience.
So here’s some link loving to all you guys and to our blog make-over winner (gee, di ko mahanap blog niya).

hi ka edong!
i’m francis respicio of GMA-7 News. i’m currently doing a story on the capability of cellphones to unlock vehicles.
tinesting po namin kasi yung sinasabi sa isang e-mail na kayang i-unlock ng cellphone ang kotse (with the help of the spare remote control key)…and it actually worked.
we’d want to ask kung may scientific explanation po kayong maibibigay regarding this.
maaari po ba naming makuha ang inyong contact number for a possible interview?
you can reach me at 928-7021 loc. 1314 or 924-3082.
mas maganda po kung sa cellphone: (0917)-9969451.
pwede rin po sa e-mail: darockph@yahoo.com
salamat po!

I read about this too.
There is one version of this that is a hoax.
The email you received is probably a version of the hoax.
Try searching google, you’ll find out more about the hoax.
There could possibly be a innovative technology that could do this
(e.g. in Japan, cellphones are used to unlock building doors).
But not the way it’s described via the e-mail that’s circulating…
