Lipat Bahay: Moving Technobiography
October 3rd, 2005 | by ka edong |Whereas in the physical world, we are really looking for another place to stay; in the virtual world, it’s been an experience moving Technobiography to another webspace and another domain name. I’m learning along the way.
I thank Abe and Rain, I was inspired to move out of Blogger after our first PTB EB. Abe and Rain, together with Kates, have been patient enough to coach me while I learn the ropes of word press. Thanks in advance for the readers who I hope will help out too in the plumbing of Technobiography’s new home.
At the same time that I’m learning WP for Technobiography’s new home, I also got re-acquainted with i.ph . I took it for a ride. It’s exciting. It’s homegrown and it is of superior quality. I haven’t kilatis-ed it to the max, I’m pacing myself. But what I see is that it’s good for beginner bloggers. When bloggers and their blogs grow bigger in webspace and bandwidth, i.ph might be limiting because they’ll have to pay extra for that traffic. Bloggers grow in skills too. I’m not yet sure if i.ph has the flexibility for skilled programmers to play around.
Nevertheless, I’ve decided to upload some of my travel photos to i.ph . I think their albums are kewl and, I hope, effortless. Let’s see.
Come on in, welcome to Technobiography’s cluttered new home. Drop a note. Hope you like things and hope you come back.
