Blog warming

September 30th, 2005 | by ka edong |

I’m thinking of arranging a Blog warming party. It’s like a house warming, except it’s not a house. Get the drift?

What would a blog warming party be like?

First off, I should have invitations. I should invite old and new friends. There are some former regulars of Technobiography whom I hope to see in the new home. I also have new friends, especially from PTB, and I hope they could drop by to check out the new Technobiography. I’ll be sending e-mail invites siguro.

Second, I’d like people to have something to “eat”, something to consume. Thus, I’m writing up articles in advance. It would be nice too if I could give away freebies, don’t you think? But, I don’t have freebies to give away at this time.

Third, I’d like a little something from the old home. I might choose to move my old tagboard to my new home. That way I’ll have a continuing “guest book” from old to new home.

Fourth, I’d like to meet and greet. That is the challenge. I’m hoping to do my blog warming while I’m in Joburg. Do you think I can pull it off?

Fifth, take a look around my rooms! More specifically, help me out with my plumbing and carpentry! Send me tips, send me feedback, send me suggestions. Send me money even, I won’t be pakipot! Hehehe.

What else could perk up a blog warming party?
